Managing Director, Global Sustainable Debt Capital Markets at Citigroup
Philip Brown has been at Citi for 22 years and leads Citi’s Sovereign, Supranational and Agency Debt Capital Markets team with responsibility for SSA bond origination and Citi’s Primary Dealer relationships with European Sovereign Debt Managers. Citi is a Primary Dealer in government bonds in 13 euro-area countries as well as in the UK. Philip also leads Citi’s Global Sustainable DCM team, working with debt capital markets and banking teams around the world. Philip led the structuring of Citi’s own debut Green Bond in 2019 and coordinates Citi’s eligible green asset selection to support future issuance. He is a member of Citi’s Banking, Capital Markets, and Advisory Sustainability Client Council.
